Wedding Favors

January 22nd, 2010

With words like ‘economic downturn’ plaguing the news, you are probably more conscious of the way you spend your hard-earned money nowadays. You may not be in a festive mood, and parties might be the first things to scratch off your list when considering your budget- but you must admit that there are certain occasions that are really worth celebrating.

One fine example is the wedding of a friend which was so memorable. Entering the doors of the inn where the reception is held already excites the senses, with the waiters garbed in their fine ensemble greeting you with warm smiles, and the aroma of my personal favorite fondue wafting through the air, and the ambience of intimate conversation of friends and family amongst the diners. My eyes were immediately drawn to the Wedding Favors that my friend picked. Daisy seed pods are in stylish mesh bags, with a small poem that reads “He loves me, He loves me not, He loves me, So we tied the knot!” These wedding favors indeed enhance the guests’ experience making the event more special and memorable. Even if you are in a tight budget, you don’t have to send the guests empty-handed because you can still afford to give them a little something to remember the wedding. The plantable daisy seed pods, which my friend had, are indeed a unique and cheap alternative to more expensive favors.
