So embrace and love everything about you, as your body may fall into one of these body types. Read on and do some visual tricks.

For Top-heavy
Also known as apple-shaped, women with this body figure are usually softer arround the middle and have heavier breasts, with narrower hips and slimmer legs. Top heavy women can show off fabulous legs and great cleavage.
-In choosing for tops:
Opt for fabrics that skim the body, preferably knits and wovens with stretch for a better fit. Choose V-neck, boatneck, turtle neck, and shirt collars for the most flattering necklines.
-In Selecting Bottoms:
Choose flat-front, never pleated, pants that have a lower rise than the natural waist. Avoid anything too tight- from pencil skirts to skintight jeans as they will accentuate top heaviness.
For your dresses:
One-piece dressing is tricky. You can wear a sleeveless black sheath, or a strapless dress with corseted top.
For Bottom-heavy
Also referred to as the pear-shaped or triangle or bell, bottom-heavy types have a wider hips than shoulders. Women with this type of figure can accentuate a shapely waist, delicate upper body and attractive shoulders and arms.
-In Selecting Bottoms:
Avoid anything too tight. A-line or assymetric skirts are ideal because they draw attention away from the problem areas. Boot cut pants are the most flattering. Avoid patterned or light-colored pants.
-In choosing for tops:
Choose wider necklines, and blouses and tops with pattern and texture. Avoid too-baggy or too-tight tops. Opt for fitted-not skintight-t-shirts and button-front tops.
-For dresses:
Select dresses that nip in at the waist and slightly flair out over hips and thighs. Best bets would be an empire cut, or raised waist dresses.
