Gorgeous and fabulous would always sound great, would it? And nobody would want to end up a fashion victim. So how do you avoid style bloopers that even dedicated fashionistas at times make? Here are some of the fashion traps to avoid:
Always following the trends set by the fashion media

Opt for garments that never go out of fashion. Most TV programs and magazines produce an aspirational effect which would not necessarily work for you. Stick with classics that have conventional style wisdom for ages which is also a sure way to investment dressing.
Buying clothes that do not fit

Little things in fashion can make or break an outfit like the length of your jacket sleeves, or the place your pants hem rest. Here are some tips on how your garments should fit:
Long sleeves should hit just below the wrist bone with just a little ease (not too tight or loose)
- A button-front blouse should never gap open at the bust line. Attach a snap.
- A slim or pencil skirt should fit without wrinkling up. Do the sit down test.
- Tailored pants should fall to the top of your instep.
- Long, formal gowns should fall to about an inch off the ground.
Choosing the wrong undergarments.

Looking good has to come from the inside, literally. Putting on the right bra or support-top pantyhose could do wonders. Here are some of the tricks of the trade to your undies:
- Fit is everything. Know your size and go to a store for an expert’s advice.
- For form-fitting, low-cut apparel, use a push-up bra for the best cleavage.
- For large-busted women, choose a full cup with underline or minimizer.
- For smaller busts, choose padded push-up bras.
- Have a wardrobe of lingerie. Casual looks call for simple, comfy (often cotton) styles, sexier looks for lace, maybe even a thigh-high and garter belt.
