Not all people have a large room and sometimes we want to maximize the space that we have. Although the TV can be mounted on the wall, there are some that don’t like them up there or think that they might change their mind and mount it somewhere else. They like it better on a tv stands. There are stands that are designed to be on the corner so it will help save on space.
