Wireless technology has been extending its uses to a lot of applications. Its practical use was in communication or for calling one another and for broadcasting like radio and TV. But now it’s also for transferring pictures from one cellphone to another or from one computer to another device. Networking used to be done with lots of wires connecting several computers to a network but now, with the use of a wireless router like the Linksys router, the wires that clutter the back of the tables or passed through the walls or ceiling are eliminated. If you have a laptop, you can bring it anywhere in the house as long as it’s within the range of the router’s signal. It’s much more convenient than trying to plug in a wire and not able to connect anywhere else.

A New Laptop

A friend of mine got her new Sony VAIO laptop. She was so excited with the gift she was given on her birthday. I couldn’t really see why she was so excited but when I saw the laptop it was quite stylish. It was thin and light with an off-white or pearl white color. She’s now able to do her research anywhere. She’s not really a gamer, though it seems that the laptop is able to run games without lagging. She already created a 5 minute presentation on it with moving pictures and some background music. She enjoys using it so much that she takes it almost anywhere.
